Passion or Enthusiasm?

Find our passion is a more delicate job than you’d think. Passion, as us Catholic people know, describes pain at its apex, The Passion Of Christ and all that.

Looking back on my history, I’ve found the times I was most passionate about my causes - environment mostly - were the times my personal effectiveness was low.

Inspired Is better. Being filled by the spirit, it just descends upon us, and fills us with energy and desire to make something. Something beautiful, or glorious maybe.

Enthusiasm is the best. That’s when you are filled (en) with god himself (theos). Some things, like permaculture, seem so wonderous they could only be gifts from heaven, and that’s something you’d want to persue with ever-refilling energy.
