What I'm doingNow

Home

I'm staying at the big house of a childhood family friend near Ballarat, Victoria. I'm beautifying it, to get it back to how nice it was when he listed in on Airbnb. He has a lot of projects going on, and it shows: trampolines, Hempcrete mixers, abandoned treehouses.  His first-ever guests are coming in July, we have just enough time to declutter and impress them.

The grass sparkles with frost in the mornings, and the sun comes deep into the house.

Health as Entertainment

I've turned up the dial on my wellness, and now do Everything Possible to have a happy metabolism: long exhales, juicy food, vitamin D sunbathing, singing innocent songs.   ChatGPT gets a lot of the credit. Anything reputed to be healthy, I ask Chat, like this: 'What's the impact of ...on a cellular level?', and it gives an answer I can believe and be motivated by.  â€‹

So one robot and a few billion cells are my latest fascinating friends.

Training Therapists in Home Harmonising

I've teamed up with a yoga therapist, and together we are creating an accredited training course for engaging with the home (me) and physical body (her) as a way for psychologists to access healing for their clients. She is also my personal guru, and my sister, Katie. Just being in her presence makes things go well.  October 22, Parkville

Definition of the Year

'Mind is an embodied and relational process, for managing energy and information'.

Dr. Daniel Siegel

Wow. So our homes, our breath, our friends are all part of our mind, where it lives, and when we tend them, we tend ourselves. Thanks Dan.

Creating Sacred Spaces

My sister Katie and I continue to gather stories and write our handbook on How to Create a Sacred Space Anywhere in your home. It's almost time for me to start illustrating the nooks that draw us in and care for us.
