The fragrant, swaying lotus is the buddhist symbol of re-incarnation and of purity. Every winter it dies down, only to rise again, sparling clean, from the mud. Windmills provide us with clean, peaceful energy, very different to energy from oil or nuclear . No country will ever go to war to get someone elses wind! Sometimes the wind stops for a while, but it is one source of energy that will never run out. Im sure lotus and windmill are good friends.
